About Me

Jacquelyne (Snowden) Jones Harvey is a proud wife and mother of two. She considers them her greatest accomplishments. She is a product of HBCU esteem. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Bishop College, and a Master's degree from Howard University. She is a retired educator who taught for over 33 years in Talented and Gifted Education in the Dallas Independent School District. She enjoys traveling with her husband, presenting African-American history programs in schools, and curating her extensive collection of over 350 African artifacts collected from Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Egypt, and Mali. Forged: When Sugar Taste Like Salt is her first novel.
